Dividend policy

In 2015 the Board revised its dividend policy under which OZ Minerals will endeavour to maintain an annual minimum dividend payment ratio of 20 per cent of net cash generation.  In determining an appropriate dividend payment, OZ Minerals will consider, among other things;

  • Legal and prudential requirements; and
  • Cash flow requirements for investing and balance sheet activity

In addition, the Board maintains the discretion to determine whether or not a dividend is payable and the amount of any dividend payment.

Dividend reinvestment plan (DRP)

In 2010 the Board made the decision to suspend the dividend reinvestment plan. Due to the suspension of the plan all shareholders will be paid dividends in cash.
